The Secret Show
You’re invited to step into the world of The Secret Show, an exhibition curated by Emma Hapner and presented by Era Contemporary at the Jane Gallery. This is where secrets reveal themselves slowly and nothing is quite as it first appears.
Following an intimate preview, the gallery doors open to the public for an evening of discovery at Jane Gallery. This opening reception invites guests to experience the full exhibition—an evocative collection of works inspired by secrecy, hidden narratives, and the whispers of what is revealed to those who look closely.
With subtle nods to Marie Antoinette–era decadence and contemporary myth-making, The Secret Show balances elegance with intrigue, romance, and mystery. Ornate details, symbolic gestures, and layered storytelling run throughout the works, creating a space that feels both playful and profound.

Preview Night for The Secret Show: Curator's High Tea
Join us for an intimate and enchanting preview of The Secret Show presented by Era Contemporary at the Jane Gallery and curated by Emma Hapner, where select guests are invited to experience the exhibition before it opens to the public. This secret evening offers a first look at the works, along with the opportunity to browse and collect pieces in a private, unhurried setting.
Inspired by the decadent elegance of Marie Antoinette and the layered mystique of secrecy, the evening unfolds as a modern rococo reverie: ornate, playful, and slightly subversive. Think powdered pastels and hidden messages, opulence with a wink. Rococo-inspired attire is encouraged, though not required.
Guests will enjoy high tea, light bites, and Rococo surprises, curated to echo the spirit of the show. The curators and gallerists will be present throughout the evening, offering insight into the works and the hidden narratives that connect them.
This is a secret celebration of art, beauty, and discovery—designed for collectors and friends of the gallery who delight in being just a little ahead of the curtain. Guests must each have a ticket to be admitted.
